Sarkoth, the Undying

Some kings die.

This one refuses.

At the ruined heart of the waste, upon a throne built of nothing but dust, sits Sarkoth, the Undying — the final foe of Throne of Dust and the reason the dead will not rest.

He is not flesh and never was: cracked stone, sand pressed hard as iron, and thin rivers of molten gold running through him where blood should run.

Every horror that walks the waste was raised by his Throne, and every horror answers only to it.

To face him you must first survive the fifteen he sends before him, from the lowest scavenger to the ruin of a fallen empire.

His portrait stays veiled until you reach him — the waste does not show you your death before you have earned the sight of it.

When at last you stand before the Throne, your relics wake and burn gold, and the true duel begins.

One road leads to Sarkoth.

It is long, and it does not forgive a wandering mind.

Only one of you walks away from the dust.
