Refund and Cancellation Policy

Throne of Dust

White Colony Kft. | Company No. 07-09-457208 | Last updated: 11 September 2026

1. Introduction

This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") explains how refunds, cancellations, consumer withdrawal rights, failed purchases, chargebacks, and payout-related questions are handled on the Throne of Dust platform available at https://throneofdustgame.com (the "Platform").

This Policy forms part of the Terms of Service. Capitalised terms used here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service unless stated otherwise.

2. Company Information

3. Digital Content and Immediate Delivery

Throne of Dust supplies Digital Content: Gold, Aurum, Silver, Virtual Items (equipment, masks, consumables, Relics), account features, and other in-game content.

Digital Content is normally credited to your account immediately or shortly after payment confirmation.

Before completing a purchase, the checkout flow will ask you to confirm that you expressly request immediate delivery of the Digital Content and that you understand you will lose your statutory right of withdrawal once delivery begins. Without this confirmation, delivery may be postponed until the withdrawal period has expired.

4. EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

If you are a Consumer in the EU/EEA, you normally have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

For Digital Content not supplied on a tangible medium, this right is lost where all of the following apply:

(a) you expressly consented to delivery beginning during the withdrawal period; (b) you acknowledged that you would lose the right of withdrawal once delivery begins; and (c) the content was credited, accessed, used, spent, or otherwise made available to your account.

A model withdrawal form is provided at the end of this Policy.

5. Gold Purchases

Gold is Digital Content. Unless otherwise displayed at checkout, Gold is sold at the Gold Purchase Rate of 1 EUR = 10 Gold.

If you purchased Gold and it has not been credited, spent, used, consumed, exchanged, or otherwise activated, you may contact us to request a review of your refund rights — for entirely unused Gold purchases within the withdrawal period, we will refund the purchase and remove the Gold from your account.

If you expressly requested immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right, then once Gold is credited to your account, delivery has begun and the statutory withdrawal right may no longer apply.

Gold that has been spent on equipment, consumables, masks, repairs, or other Platform features is treated as consumed and is not refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Gold cannot be submitted for payout.

6. Aurum Purchases

Aurum is Digital Content. Unless otherwise displayed at checkout, Aurum is sold at the Aurum Purchase Rate of 1 Aurum = 1 EUR.

If you purchased Aurum and it has not been credited, spent, used, listed, involved in a market transaction, submitted for payout, or otherwise activated, you may contact us to request a review of your refund rights — for entirely unused Aurum purchases within the withdrawal period, we will refund the purchase and remove the Aurum from your account.

If you expressly requested immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right, then once Aurum is credited to your account, delivery has begun and the statutory withdrawal right may no longer apply.

Aurum that has been spent on the Relic Market, transferred through a completed market transaction, or affected by a chargeback is treated as consumed and is not refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

Purchased Aurum is not eligible for payout or reverse conversion. Only Market Aurum — Aurum credited as proceeds from selling Relics to other users on the Relic Market — may be submitted for payout, as described in the Terms of Service and Section 11 below.

7. Silver and Earned Content

Silver is earned exclusively through gameplay and cannot be purchased for real money. Silver, battle rewards, item drops, ranks, league positions, and other earned content have no purchase price and are therefore not subject to refund, withdrawal, or payout.

Losing Silver, items, durability, or rank through gameplay decisions and battle results is a normal part of the game and does not create any refund right.

8. Virtual Items, Consumables, and Market Purchases

Virtual Items, consumables, and Relic Market purchases are Digital Content. The following are not refundable except where required by law:

(a) Digital Content delivered to your account after you requested immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of withdrawal rights; (b) Gold or Aurum that has been spent, used, consumed, listed, or exchanged; (c) consumables used in battle; (d) equipment, masks, repairs, or other items purchased and added to your account; (e) Relics bought from other users on the Relic Market; (f) content affected by battle results, drop rates, rankings, market prices, game balance changes, or your own in-game choices; (g) bonus, promotional, free, test, or reward balances and items; (h) Silver, battle rewards, ranks, league positions, and other non-purchased in-game content.

9. Failed Delivery, Duplicate Charges, and Technical Errors

You may be entitled to a correction or a refund where:

(a) you were charged but the purchased Digital Content was not delivered; (b) you were charged more than once for the same purchase due to a technical error; (c) the wrong Digital Content was delivered due to our error; (d) a payment was confirmed but your account balance was not updated; (e) a transaction was affected by a verifiable technical fault of the Platform.

In these cases we will, depending on the situation and applicable law, deliver the missing content, correct your balance, reverse the faulty transaction, or refund the payment to the original payment method.

10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback — most issues are resolved faster and without consequences for your account.

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may restrict your account, freeze balances, pause access to the Relic Market, and suspend pending payout requests while the transaction is investigated.

If a chargeback concerns Digital Content that has already been delivered, spent, consumed, traded, or activated, we may remove the related content, reverse balances, cancel connected market transactions, or suspend the account, as permitted by the Terms of Service and applicable law.

Fraudulent payment disputes or systematic misuse of refund processes may lead to account termination and refusal of future purchases and payouts.

11. Payout and Reverse Conversion Issues

Payouts are separate from refunds. A payout request does not create, extend, or replace any refund right, and a refund request cannot be satisfied through the payout function.

Only Market Aurum marked by the Platform as eligible may be submitted for reverse conversion, only through the Platform's payout function and only at the Aurum Payout Rate. Purchased, bonus, promotional, and other non-Market Aurum cannot be submitted for payout. Unless otherwise displayed at the time of the request, the Aurum Payout Rate is 1 Aurum = 0.50 EUR, payouts are available in EUR or USD, the minimum payout is 50 Aurum (25.00 EUR), and no Commission is charged on payouts.

Payout requests are handled as described in Section 11 of the Terms of Service. When a request is submitted, the requested Aurum is deducted from your balance and held, and the request receives the status "Awaiting review". Each request is then reviewed and approved or declined individually; if a request is declined or the transfer fails, the held Aurum is automatically returned to your balance. After approval, the payout is completed by you: you enter the card number to which the payment should be sent and the cardholder name. The full card number is used once to send the payment and is never stored — only a masked number (the first six and last four digits) is kept.

We may delay, refuse, reverse, or cancel a payout request where required for identity or payment verification, fraud or chargeback prevention, sanctions screening, payment-provider rules, technical issues, or legal compliance.

If a payout fails because of incorrect user information, an unsupported payment method, a payment-provider refusal, or an account mismatch, we may ask you to correct the information before the request can be processed again.

12. How to Request a Refund Review

Contact support@throneofdustgame.com from the email address linked to your game account and provide:

(a) your account email or user ID; (b) the transaction date and amount; (c) the payment reference, invoice, or receipt, if available; (d) a description of the issue; (e) screenshots, if available.

We may request additional information to verify the transaction and your identity.

13. Refund Method and Timing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase, unless another method is required by law or payment-provider rules.

We process eligible refunds without undue delay and, for statutory withdrawal cases, within 14 days of your request. Bank and card-network processing may add additional days that are outside our control, as are delays caused by incorrect user information.

14. No Refund for User Mistake or Game Outcome

Except where required by law, we do not provide refunds for:

(a) accidental purchases after confirmation at checkout; (b) dissatisfaction with gameplay outcomes, battle results, enemy difficulty, rankings, league results, or drop rates; (c) changes in market demand, item prices, or your own listing decisions; (d) changes to in-game prices, features, or content made as part of game development; (e) purchases made by another person using your account credentials; (f) failure to keep your account secure; (g) use of unsupported devices, browsers, regions, VPNs, or payment methods; (h) suspension or termination of your account caused by your breach of the Terms of Service.

15. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including statutory remedies for Digital Content that does not conform to the contract. If this Policy conflicts with mandatory consumer law, the law prevails to the extent required.
