This Cookie Policy ("Policy") explains how White Colony Kft. uses cookies and similar technologies on the Throne of Dust website at https://throneofdustgame.com and the game at https://play.throneofdustgame.com, together with related pages, accounts, payment and payout flows, the Relic Market and support features (the "Platform").

It explains what cookies are, exactly which cookies and storage items we use, why we use them, how long they last, and how you can accept, decline or change your choice at any time.

3. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use an online service. They let the Platform recognise your device, remember choices and support technical operation.

We also use similar technologies, in particular browser local storage and session storage. On the Platform these keep you signed in, store your game session and remember interface and sound preferences. Where these technologies serve a purpose similar to cookies, this Policy applies to them in the same way.

Cookies can be set by us ("first-party cookies") or by providers whose services run on the Platform ("third-party cookies").

4. Summary

Strictly necessary technologies: always active. They are needed for sign-in, gameplay, security and remembering your cookie choice.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4): used in the game only if you click Accept in the cookie banner.
Advertising and targeting cookies: not used.

These technologies are required for the Platform to work. They do not require consent under applicable law, because the Platform cannot function without them.

You can block or delete these in your browser, but signing in, playing and paying will stop working correctly.

6. Analytics Cookies (Google Analytics 4)

The game at play.throneofdustgame.com uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how the game is used, for example which screens are visited, how long sessions last and which countries visitors come from. This helps us improve the game.

Analytics is off by default. The Google Analytics script is not loaded, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google until you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you click Decline, nothing is loaded or sent.

We do not send your email address, account ID, nickname, balances or payment information to Google Analytics.

Analytics is currently used only in the game (play.throneofdustgame.com). The website throneofdustgame.com does not use analytics cookies.

7. Third-Party Services Without Cookies

Some services built into the Platform do not set cookies but still receive technical data such as your IP address when your browser connects to them:

Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited): the game loads fonts from Google's servers. More information: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Vercel Inc.: hosts the game and processes server logs needed to deliver and secure it.
Supabase: provides account authentication and data storage for the game.
Payment and payout providers: process data needed for checkout and payouts when you use these features, under their own privacy notices.

8. Advertising and Tracking

We do not use advertising, targeting, retargeting or social-media tracking cookies, and we do not allow advertising partners to place cookies on the Platform. We do not sell your personal data and do not use cookies for cross-site tracking. If this ever changes, this Policy will be updated first and such cookies will be used only with your consent.

9. Managing Your Choice

(a) Cookie banner

When you first open the game, a banner at the bottom of the screen lets you Accept or Decline analytics cookies. Both options are equally available, and the game works the same either way.

(b) Changing your choice in the game

Open Settings, go to Quick Links and click Cookie Settings. Your saved choice and any Google Analytics cookies are deleted, the page reloads and the banner appears again so you can choose again.

(c) Browser settings

You can also delete cookies and clear local storage in your browser. After that, the banner will appear again on your next visit.

Clearing strictly necessary storage will sign you out and may reset locally saved settings.

Some cookies and similar technologies involve personal data, for example your IP address, device and browser information, or session identifiers. We process such data in accordance with our Data Protection and Privacy Policy, the GDPR and applicable Hungarian data protection law.

11. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use, Platform features, service providers or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. The current version is always available on the Platform.
